As a Commis Chef at The Royal Hotel, you’ll assist our Senior Chefs in running an efficient and profitable kitchen. You’ll use quality ingredients to create flavourful menus, prepare attractive dishes, and gain invaluable experience while developing your skills.

What will I be doing?

As a Commis Chef, you will:

• Support Senior Chefs by following instructions and applying skills learned in training.
• Maintain your kitchen station and equipment in a hygienic condition throughout your shift.
• Ensure deliveries are stored correctly and promptly.
• Deliver food quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Manage portion control to minimise waste.
• Comply with company policies on HASAWA, HACCP Level 2 Food Safety, fire precautions, and legal requirements.
• Work closely with colleagues to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Complete any required training or qualifications to enhance your role.
